Red sky at night....
Don't see many delighted shepherds round here though !
A good hard frost,so loaded up some pallets of sheep feed onto a trailer and sent Kev off to the shed out on the hill with it. The only way to get across the peat with it is to wait for a hard frost. The first 3 tons was fine,so sent him off with another 3 tons, only to get a phone call an hour later to say that 2 tons had slid out the back of the trailer going up the steep track. After a few sweary words, suggested he build the 80 bags back onto the 2 pallets, load them back on the trailer and tie them on this time ! Nett result,a job that should have taken a couple of hours lasted nearly all day.
Went to collect the repaired water pump from Haddington, and spotted this glorious sun set over Gorebridge on the way home . Either that or the local wee Jimmy's had tourched something !
