A day of two halves

So we wake up reasonably early for a Sunday morning, R makes us some nice coffee, we read the paper and leave for Hampton Court Palace. I was last there about 6 years ago; its a great place to visit. It was bitterly cold and the strong wind didn't help with the chill either. We had planned to visit the palace and go for a wander through the grounds and the nearby park, although I started feeling unwell so we left after only an hour. A hot water bottle and some antibiotics later, I'm sat on the sofa watching James Bond. Not quite what we had planned....
