Museum piece

In a scene slightly reminiscent of an old sci-fi movie the humans queue to ascend the escalator that will carry them into the molten heart of the planet Earth.

Fortunately it's not as sinister as my overactive imagination would have it but rather the entrance to the volcano and earthquakes exhibit from the Earth Hall at the Natural History Museum.
