Sunset and moonrise

And the owl was calling my name...It felt like that. A sound to get superstitious. I stalked it around this huge tree until I spotted it. Too far for the little IPhone in the low light but I could see its "ears" and the encounter filled me with delight. In German we call this owl Uhu (pronounced oohoo) and it is nearly extinct there. When I finally decided to go back to the car it was so dark that I had to sing loudly during the last 10 minutes. An encounter with a bear would have been too much for me tonight. Due to the warm temps the bears do not sleep and roam around very close to our houses.
