Snowblowing

It's only 11:00 in the morning & already Tom & I, along with most of the neighbors, have participated in that great Olympic Winter Sport known as  "THE GREAT DIG-OUT"!!  Tom was the gold medal winner in the snowblowing competition, completing not only our own driveway, but also the front sidewalks of everyone on our block, in record time--much  to the delight of the other participants!  I, myself, humbly admit that I took the silver medal in "snow wading"--for those of you not familiar with this particular event, it involves trying to wade through hip deep snow drifts to make it to the side of the garage where the shovel was (accidentally) left the last time it was used, instead of being in the garage--but we won't go into how that happened! The sun is out, the streets & driveways are all clear, & the competition ended without injuries!   A great day for all!!    :))
