This is the first time I have really 'smashed' an Apple product! Good thing I had a screen protector on or there would have been glass everywhere! Amazingly it has continued to work!

Philip had a new iPad and I have been considering transferring to his for some time, but not wanting to wipe it at all! I have now backed up his iPad and saved chats and photos and migrated my stuff onto his! Still can't quite bring myself to use it though - maybe when my smashed screen becomes too unreadable....
