The first celandine!
I went to U3A this morning, the speaker was the Trail Officer for The Offa's Dyke Trail and was really interesting. Offa's Dyke goes through our area so the talk was very well attended. I've done parts of it but not the whole length.
This afternoon was beautifully sunny so I went for a walk around the village. I was rewarded with this solitary celandine growing out of a wall. It's the first that I've seen and a great sign of spring approaching. Some of the petals are not exactly perfect but that doesn't matter!
