The Scott Antarctic Memorial, Cardiff Bay.

This memorial was commissioned by the Captain Scott Society to commemorate the 100th anniversary of "the age of Antarctic Discovery". The sculptor was Cardiff based Jonathan Williams and the monument is covered in white and off white mosaics. The memorial which is illuminated at night is situated alongside the Norwegian Church which is a fitting venue for the Captain Scott Society functions!
