Carnation.

Round about the time FredaH died these carnations came into the house.  It is a testament to modern flower growing that they have lasted almost three weeks.  However this is one of the last that is looking in fair condition.

In spite of the cold I had to work at the lodge today there was a damaged plank in the verandah that I had removed.  We have three weeks starting Saturday when the Lodge is full so the replacement had to be done.

I intended to take more outdoor shots while out of the house.  I found that taking photographs without a camera is more than a little difficult!  So it is back to indoor shots.
