De-icing the delayed plane at Edinburgh. This scene was a familiar one when we lived in Poland.

Today the windchill was -4 and the snow and ice caused me an hour and a half delayed departure to Gatwick where I had to run almost half a mile to catch my onward flight to Geneva just before the gate closed.

BA, operating both flights, were not particularly joined up in their collaboration over my connection!

The first of three meetings here went well. I have two more tomorrow before my flight home.
