Surgery Day

So today is the day. My husband had his giant retinal tear (3 clock positions) which had lead to a retinal detachment with fluid behind the macula repaired with a vitrectomy and scleral buckle. It was a much longer than expected procedure, but it went very well. Poor guy did not feel well after anesthesia though and has to sleep face down tonight. This is our before surgery picture because it would just be cruel to post his post op photo. Lol
