Cloisters

My circular river walk brings me through the Cathedral Cloisters. This afternoon's weather was one of constant change : rain, hail, snow, cold, so I was glad to duck in here to get out of it for a while. I don't often find the cloisters illuminated like this ( must have been a gesture to a dark day ), so this wins.
I met bird watchers along the river who told me a male and female Peregrine are up on the Cathedral spire. They've nested up there for years now, thanks to a nesting platform put up there through the combined efforts of Cathedral, Fire Brigade and Hawk and Owl Trust. I look forward to the web-cam being active on chicks again.
