Another snowy morning!! It was actually snowing when we set off to school. As is our way on snow mornings, we left loads of time so we could stomp and twirl and throw. And lie on the floor face down making snow angels. Well, Katie did.
She was really vocal about her school day today. She said that they had their usual French lesson but that they also learnt about America today. She said she tried American pancakes, with chocolate in it. She said a nice lady came to talk to them who was from America. And her name was Katie! Apparently, she learnt "that in America they sort of talk like we do, and wear the same clothes and eat lots of the same food. But, mama, the houses are a lot bigger and the roads are wider. And America Katie saw a realllly big snake one time. And she helped us start our Frozen hats for the parade. She said her favourite is Olaf and Sven".
Swimming tonight. She is having a quite tired week, I think. She's been a bit croupy on the nights. So she wasn't at her best in the water. She'd asked for Monkey to come after school, so he'd been waiting in the car when I picked her up. Normally, she would leave him in the car for activities now, but she wouldn't even leave him for her swim lesson. We stopped at the shop on the way home. There were some bargain chocolate puddings. I bought them for her. When we got home, I said she could have one. She didnt want to have one until I promised I would have one too, because she wanted to share them. I said they were her treat but she was adamant she wanted to share the treat.
