Fleetwith Pike

Day 3 at LPH, saw a trip down to Honnister as a starting point for getting to the top of Fleetwith Pike.  Lots of snow, but being amongst the high fells the views were stunning.  At the top of the pike there are views down the valley running through Bettermere, Crummock Water, Lowes Water and out to the coast (and just about seeing Scotland over the Solway Firth too).

I've been wanting to get to this point for many years - since doing Haystacks in the wind, rain, sleet and snow with friends where we had to abandon the pike.  So good to finally get there.
