Coast

While the rest of the Lake District was forecast for lots of rain, out on the northern coast was expected to be dry - and it was!

A really good day getting images of the grasses, fences and sands.

There may have been a visit to the chip shop in Silloth for lunch.  Better not mention the stop at Wellington's Ice Cream on the way back...

We also had a bit of a look down the A591 towards Thirlmere.  Our thinking was that if the road was closed there wouldn't be much traffic, and we could get some shots that normally wouldn't be easy to get.  A few good shots - but people were using the empty road like a racetrack.
