Creative Gay Borthers

Geoffry & Bevis Bawa were brothers who created the golden era of Sri Lankan new age architecture. After the great ancient kingdoms of Sri Lanka (Aruradhapura, Polonnaruwa, etc) there were no significant architectural structures which could come close to the ancient glory.

However the Bawa concepts were totally different from the ancient architectures of Sri Lanka. Geoffry was the most famous & the gifted out of the two brothers who's got creations like Lunuganga estate, Kandalama Hotel, Lighthouse hotel, etc. Bevis's most famous creation was his estate, Brief Gardens.

The sexual orientation of the brothers could be seen in their creations. Bevis had no intention of hiding his homo sexuality & his sexual urges for boys through his creations. Brief Garden in Bentota is a very good example for this.

However nothing can take away the serenity & the blissful feeling that engulfs you once you're in any of those properties. Its simply a work of perfect art.

If I had a chance to unwind & just sit under a tree over looking a lake, surrounded by trees, I would definietly go for a couple of nights at Lunuganga Estate.
