Sunrise over the Gilas

Up and out before
the dawn to catch the first rays
of the morning light

L and I had an agreement to meet at 7 AM under the awning. We headed south on Foothills Drive looking for a view of the mountains and the desert. She has come equiped with great camera gear and is itching to try it all out. Sunrise did not disappoint. Even last night's full moon hung around long enough to be photographed.
