Gone fishing?

Well not recently!  And not in this boat.

On the Bondi beach to Coogee clifftop path.  Which is lovely and was recommended by #2 daughter.   A local resident just scampered across the path at this moment but too quick for the camera.   I didn't know, though, whether he was Rattus rattus (who probably came off the first boat to unload cargo in Sydney Cove) or Rattus fuscipes assimilis.   He was the original Australian rat and is difficult to distinguish from the Introduced Variety.    (I only just looked all this up, in case you think I was clever than I am.)     Original versus Introduced!   It's the same old story,....
