My morning walk....

.....down the Tweed to Innerleithen.   Persistent drizzle - but pleasant enough for all that.  

5th February 523 was the death day of Archbishop Saint Avitus of Vienne.      His most famous quote?   "My political views are those of the Our Father."    Which seems a quite modern sentiment - I could hear Desmond Tutu saying something similar......
