Good old grass

I play competition tennis on Sundays and today we played Hagley Park.

I was really looking forward to playing on grass for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Unfortunately the home team gets to choose the surface and surprisingly (and disappointingly) our doubles, and my singles, opponents chose to play on the hard courts.

Oh well, maybe next year!

For the record our team won 5-1 and we now lie 3rd in the competition, just one point off second.
