Frozen

Not the photo I should have taken today. I walked to the health surgery through a lovely snow shower this morning, that took the edge off a dull winter's day. Shepshed even began to look attractive.

But the snow stopped, the temperature rose above freezing, and the thaw had worked by the time I got to Nanpantan Reservoir at 11 am. The vista could hardly be more dull.

Only seagulls and ducks to greet Basil and me, and still some swathes of ice on the surface of the water.
