My Dad's squadron badge

Dad flew with the Royal Australian Air Force for a while during the 2nd World war and this is his squadron badge from that time.  One of my brothers has the rest of Dad's wartime stuff, including a piece of shrapnel removed from the seat padding he had been sitting on when fired  upon by a German fighter plane over the Mediterranean during a sortie for which Dad was awarded the DFC.  He came very close to not having children at all ;-)

I was wandering around the house with my camera and a flashgun in my other hand, taking random pictures and this one came out quite well, so is my blip for today.
