Mist in the hollow

fair day tomorrow and it rained for 6 weeks. A story told by a lovely old fashioned farmer friend many years ago. They were gathering hay and thought tomorrow would be fine. It wasn't. If one of us hears the phrase 'mist in the hollow' the other always responds 'fair day tomorrow and it ......'

This morning we looked out onto a white frosted landscape - the trees looked like white skeletons, the garden clean and tidy. An hour later the White disappeared as the sun caught the branches and crispy looking twigs. From here we only catch a glimpse the loch in the winter, trees were planted for wind protection 40 Years ago, hiding the loch but providing us with a very sheltered spot. However this morning the loch was covered in a heavy mist, this we could see, it felt weird and wonderful to look through the white covered landscape over to the village with nothing inbetween. The above taken a little later, I liked the shape and colours but the real reason is the iPad is playing up. I need to off load a load of photos to see if that helps.
