a place for all ages (and dogs)

Another piece of artwork in Central Milton Keynes - this one promotes the idea that MK is a place for all ages.

When the city was first built, it was predominately young families that moved here, many from London.  Wary of a population imbalance, the authorities introduced a scheme to encourage the parents of the new inhabitants to move here as well through a housing relocation scheme. My mum was one of the many pensioners who moved here in the 1980s.  

Many of the early settlers are now pensioners themselves..…
