Spicing It Up
Another soup-making session to warm up a winter day. This time it's the turn of fragrant spices to lend their colour and heat to my cooking - lentil and cardamom soup. From top-right, going clockwise: lentils; cardamom pods; cumin; tumeric; garlic cloves - and some chopped onion in the middle. Just smelling their different aromas is transporting me away to a different, more exotic world!
