Bright Day

It has been a totally peachy day, with wonderful light quality and strong colours zinging out.  'M' and I went for a walk along the canal, we both took our cameras.  'M' photographs very different things from me and has a good style.  It's good to have a shared interest. 
So here is the canal with the ice just melting away, and a great view of Arthurs Seat.
 I went to a very good and rather late Burns Supper last night, with Alan Johnson as the guest speaker.  It was a great evening and Alan spoke very well.  I had taken my copy of his book-'This Boy' along with me, and he signed it and was very chatty.
