Fairy Glen

"We're expecting a really good treat after sitting here on this damp stone whilst you fiddle around with that old box"

"You're right Poppy, people walk past, dogs fetch sticks in the water, children stand and stare and still we sit here. We're going on strike soon if we don't get a choc drop at least."

They got their treat, not a choc drop, but they were happy. They are very good, they sit still for ages waiting until the camera goes click. Bud is better than Poppy, if I'm too long she starts edging forwards, but he stands perfectly still until I'm finished.

It was surprisingly busy down the Fairy Glen today, mainly families with young children on a Saturday afternoon Walk. I enjoy that for a change and it's good for the dogs to learn to wait and let little children walk past.
