Blowing your own trumpet

Perhaps the most cartoon like of all the hornbills (yet overlooked for a part in the Lion King!) the trumpeter hornbill is a common sight in the trees in an around St Lucia. Despite having such a fearsome looking beak they are remarkably timid birds and have the most incongruous call which sounds very much like a small baby softly crying.
