Looking through the window...

... at the Engineers Museum which we visited this afternoon. 
This was part of the WW2 exhibits - a family in war time - mother in an ambulance driver's uniform, the girl (back visiting home from her evacuation) and a grandpa in Home Guard uniform (out of sight to the right). Mother is just putting up the black outs here.
I was checking out the WW1 stuff too for teaching ideas.

After that we went to Maidstone for some bits of shopping and had dinner in the French bistro that we like before seeing 'I need a Doctor - a Whosical' in the Haslitt Theatre whch was originally performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was very funny!
