The Pink Princess' Painting Party

Fiona turned 5 on Jan 29th but today was her birthday party with her little friends at the “Paint the Town” pottery painting shop.   6 friends from school and her sister and friend.  They whipped through their paintings of Ninja turtle, chihuahua dog or squirrel  (lots of blue, pink and purple)  very fast,(one boy insisted on a dinosaur)  had snacks and cupcakes and gifts and were done before the scheduled time.  I should have brought the face paint!    Fiona had a lovely time in her pink princess dress and those kids couldn’t be any cuter.  (lots of stories about who has been sick - they have been passing those germs around school like crazy - parents have been scrambling for child care and arranging crazy work schedules.)

Busy day for me —first,  my camera class all morning—basics really but I did learn a lot about working my new camera— and after the party, Tatum’s soccer game.  Horrible rainy day.   Had to come sit on the couch a bit with some dvds, food and drink.
