Breakfast

The view out of the window this morning suggested an interesting mix of sun and mist so we got up and went straight up the hill grabbing some fruit for breakfast on the top.

A bit nippy up there but some great views of the hills partly submerged in fog.  I liked the way this one catches both the misty trees and the cloud top.

Sitting here now looking out at the garden: bright blue sky; birdsong, and the woodpecker bashing his brains out on the dead tulip tree.  

Life's not so bad.
