The turning of the tide

A fresh North Easterly empowers the flood tide
at a rate fast enough to catch the feet of the
unready. Only a few hours later a fisherman had
to be rescued by the inshore lifeboat from the
Mascus Rocks - a few hundred yards to the North-
which the tide had encircled.
