A walk on the beach

The weather forecast said it would be 40 degrees in our town today, plus the power would be off between 10 and 12, so we decided to head for our favourite beach, Struisbaai. It is just over an hour's drive from us, so not too bad.The temperature was much lower there, plus the wind blew some sand over us, but we had a nice walk along the never ending beach, and I also swam a bit, or rather, jumped over some waves.

When we got back home, the power was on again, the heat was still there, but it cooled down later. Rain is forecast for Tuesday, and we need it desperately, as far as we drove today the fields were brown and the cattle and sheep looked hungry and thirsty.
