Supper
Whoever decided to squeeze some fudge-making into today's busy schedule is a genius.
(It's me, it's me!)
Late start. Some baking, Sunday lunch making (rolled shoulder of venison - mildly disappointing. I think French venison just doesn't somehow have the flavour of Scottish venison), pal farewelling, backblipping and now... supper.
Having spent pretty much the whole day in the kitchen I can now relax - the washing up is done, the kids will soon be off to bed and I can doze in front of something pointless on the telly. Bliss. Holidays are great.
