Frosty start...

A frosty start for a gloriously sunny day and how cool that C is now tall enough to be helpful clearing the ice! A morning trip to see Big Hero 6 at the cinema with some pals - it was a bit more full on than expected and D wasn't impressed during the film. Both, however, claimed it was fab when we got home. Home for lunch (and to make a v quick batch of choc n banana muffins) and then out for a walk with different friends. The boys had a blast as usual running around with several stick weapons blasting baddies. Back at the car the muffins that had now, not surprisingly, cooled down and the hot choc in my new flask made a v tasty pre-40th celebration for my lovely friend.
Now boys are in bed, fire is lit, wine is to be finished and there's still a couple of muffins left...
