To Join the Herd

A beautiful morning for a walk.  A slight covering of frost under foot and so one had to be a little careful.

These sheep are very tame and appeared to expect me to feed them. They are in the field right next to my beehives.  I wonder if they will hang around like this when the bees really get flying.

Unusually the overnight ferry was unable to dock at Heysham Port because of thick fog. The ferry had to return to Douglas.  That would have been a nightmare trip.
