8th February 2015 - Ride out to South Queensferry

Well.....I've joined.
Yesterday a good friend told me all about Blip.....and I decided I wanted to be part of the fun.
After trying to put my curtains back up after new double glazing (and failing), then tried to put all the 'rubbish' in my bedroom back where it was (my excuse is I have no storage space as attack converted into bedrooms).........I gave up, and decided to go for a ride out.

Had never ridden to South Queensferry on my own, so decided that's where I'd go as keen to see the Bikers Cove after the refurb.........nice lazy jaunt through Falkirk, through Polmont, along through Linlithgow......and although I struggled a few times with the blaring sun in my eyes.....I finally was on the cobbled street that took me to my destination.

A gent who helped me when my bike broke down before was standing gabbin with the bikers - could not mistake that yellow vest with "POLITE notice  Think Bike" on his back.  Joined him for a nice cuppa......and then it was time to go get the car to collect my daughter.
But, before I left, I took a quick snap on my old iPhone.  Lighting was poor where I was, but it does mean your attention is on the bridge.  Stunning piece of engineering.

Anyway...........first blip done...........think I will enjoy this.
