Clarice Cliff

A quieter day at home today.  Very cold and foggy.  Can’t see Morecambe Bay at all.  Spent today catching up on  emails etc and also spoke to girlfriend who has had op. She is doing well and is very cheery.  Also spoke to No 2 son who is back from Cairo which he enjoyed.  

This china has been in the family for years and used to belong to my Nana.  She was from the generation when you didn’t actually use it - it was purely for ‘best’ and 'high days and holidays'.  Although, having said that I don’t recall ever using it.  It was always kept in the cupboard wrapped in newspaper which seems a pity.   It now is stored in my cupboard in bubble wrap!
