A carpet of snowdrops

This morning I went out with my walking group. I've got a touch of the lurgy and wasn't going but the sun came out and it seemed a shame to stay in and miss the weather and exercise. I decided to go but put myself in quarantine by keeping a distance from the others so that I didn't spread my germs far and wide!

We had a lovely walk - the sun was really warm and it felt like a spring day though there were still patches of snow and ice on the ground. I particularly loved the snowdrops under the trees of this old wood which was once the garden of a now demolished house.
