Breaking The Ice

Another beautiful sunny day. Really does lift the spirits.

I took this at around 8.15 a.m. when the light was soft and warm. The horses were enjoying the sunshine and this one was gently tapping the ice with his hoof then eating the little broken bits. Another brave soul was drinking from the river which I am sure would be refreshingly cold!

Even although the school is on holiday Daughter has gone in to practise for the dance competition with the rest of the dance team. So, I got a little sewing done and watched another couple of episodes of Game of Thrones at the same time. I knew I shouldn't have started this.
