ISS
Now I can guess at what anyone reading this may be thinking, but I promise if you look close enough you will see a small white dot in the centre of the screen.
Blipping has clearly become a recent addiction, the ISS is my long standing obsession, and tonight it was back for the first time in a couple of months.
My husband thinks I have lost the plot when I run out into the garden in the freezing cold weather, just to watch 'the same light go across the sky'. His words not mine! I just love watching the International Space Station go across the sky right overhead and know the astronauts are living their lives inside it. I just can't stop! I have email alerts that tell me the time and direction it's coming from and as long as it is a clear sky I will be out there to watch.
I can't tell you how exciting it was the night that the astronauts were walking outside the ISS fixing something on the exterior as they went overhead. I was watching them on NASA TV as I watched the silver ball of light. I will never tire of watching the ISS and am delighted that my granddaughters also love to watch it.
So, that is not just a white dot, it is a whole community living on a space station, and when I get the time and money I will be learning how to photograph it properly with a decent camera instead of my iPhone
