Something else furry?!

Aha, did that have you wondering?!
Not very exciting really, just a magnolia bud with its furry coat on!

This image is of some lichen that has really taken hold on our Magnolia Stelata shrub in the front garden. It does rub off relatively easy...so I guess I'll have to give it some TLC pretty soon! I'll probably wait until after the flowers have been and gone!

I like how the lichen is two toned, a yellowy green, and an aqua green, quite pretty in its own way! I know it's not the best image I've ever posted, but it is representative of spending an hour cutting back and clearing dead leaves that were entangled in the cotoneaster, beforesweeping the whole of the front paths and doorway, much tidier now :-)
