Went into town today to meet Becky for a design pep-talk and portfolio crit.
I decided to drag Mr Jones along too since he is Mr Type, knows plenty of old school type artists and that is basically the crux of Becky's work. I also thought it would be useful for her to have him as a "perfect interviewer" given that he doesn't know her nor is familiar with her work.
I think it helped her a lot with the direction of where she wants to seek work.
Most of her folio is bespoke lettering (with not one single item of print) so it became clear why she isn't having much success with her interviews...

Anyway it would have been perfectly rude to take photos of this part of my day, so I recorded a long lost item of clothing I wore....A shirt I bought from Afflecks years ago (from a guy whom I recall had a very close likeness to Noel Fielding!) once discarded by me, Alex owned it for a while before it got relegated to the Get-Rid-Of pile.
Luckily, weight has left me and this has returned into my life...!
