Cole's first live music show!

Jason and I love music and have been to many live music shows and festivals together. We try to expose Cole to all sorts of music - from The Grateful Dead (Jason's a deadhead through and through) to bluegrass to reggae, jazz, classical, pretty much every genre out there. Yesterday, we went to a new bottle shop that just opened and heard some friends play who are in a band called The Midatlantic. This photo is of our friend Jason Andre who sings and plays guitar & mandolin in the band. He and Cole hit it off well. While the music and time with friends was great, Cole did not sleep well at all last night, and hasn't for the past few nights, so I have been picking the brains of friends today on a parenting Facebook group I'm a member of to see if anyone has any suggestions. Apparently, many babies go through a "sleep regression" at four months old, and especially breastfed babies will start waking up more often. That makes for a tired mama! We're trying Cole in his crib tonight to sleep if he sleeps better there instead of the cosleeper beside our bed. I am already feeling like I'll miss having him beside me, though. But sleep is important and in the wee hours of the morning, I will be glad I'm asleep (if in fact I am). I know he'll wake me up at some point:-)
