Are you sure this is comfortable??

So, the first of many appearances of the adorable murphmeister....We have a huge garden, but after 30mins of standing staring at me on the bench, I had to bring his bean bag out.....Really!!!!
Today I was a lazy bum and I enjoyed every second of it..and did as little as possible, that is until I received a bumper filled email from my new work to swot up on...
Scott left at some unearthly hour, about 5.30am, so although I this week did the adoring girlfriend thing and got up, ran his bath and made him a cuppa.....I promptly went back to bed and didn't see the light of day again until 12 noon!!!!
So, I got up and took Murf for a good 2 hour walk....we were through the forest and down by the beach, it was lovely....though when I got back I had afore mentioned email from my work consisting of 7 downloads including a very extensive and VERY SCARY wine list, Whisky list with 154 different types, banqueting menu, 3 TDH menu selectors and my rota....
So, glass of wine in hand....Well, work related I tell you, I got to work in trying to actually have half a clue of these things by next week!!!
Its now 8:30pm, my brain is officially mush, and I have yet to put in a few hours practise as I have a gig on Sunday....arghhhh!

So, whilst sitting in the sun, my brain slowly drowning in speyside, lowland malts, Lebanese, English and Loire valley reserve wines, "I got to thinking"....

What things do I love about the elusive SUN coming out???...
1...People are so much happier....everyone is smiling, and things are good...
2...The obligatory smell of Barbecues....you just can't beat it...personally though, being vegetarian, I so look forward to the thought of the meal, but there really is only a few things we veggies can actually put on the barby
3...We get to wear all our wee vest tops and skimpies....always great
4...There may be a chance of being another colour other than milk bottle....though I must say that I am quite lucky and have fairly sallow/olive skin....but can always do with it being darker
5...we can sunbathe in our back garden...in the vain hope of achieving the already explained number 4... Though I must say that I was slightly unexcited about this thought earlier when I bumped into my neighbour....whos 76 and promptly said....I was looking forward to seeing you in your bikini today.... Arghhh!!!
6...We can play tragically bad songs as loud as we like....like pm dawn...set adrift on memory bliss, and wham...
7...The birds sing....I KNOWmurf just stretched and hit the caps lock button...lol...yeah, I know they usually sing, but with the sun shining, they sing with much more gusto and warmth...
8...Yeah....WARMTH....thats what I adore about the sun!!!
9...not having to apologise or have an excuse for that sneaky wee G & T or glass of vino whilst sitting in the sun....
10...Life!!!!!....okay, a bit open ended I merit that, but life itself seems so much better in the sun....our troubles don't seem half as bad, our work load not as tough....everything is better, and I love it!!!!
