Motherwell
Over in Motherwell today talking to North Lanarkshire Council Social Work, which was a good meeting.
I had a quick wander round the town centre while there to get a blip, and yes, Motherwell town centre was redeveloped in the 1960's. I suspect that some rather nice Victorian and Edwardian building were demolished and replaced with what was considered 'state of the art' architecture, but just looks sadly dated nowadays. That said, the town centre seems to have a good array of shops with not many empty ones, and the council have tried to beautify the town centre.
I hope you have all had a good Tuesday.
