Station kiosk

We set off for a couple of days up in Nikko, a resort a bit north of Tokyo. I can't remember which station I took this shot at, but there was so much colour and visual busy-ness that I had to get my camera out.

There seems to be a lot of text and graphics everywhere - I don't know if that is really the case or if it's just that it all looks so unintelligible to the western eye and so I notice it more. It may also be because I spend all of my time trying to read everything, practising my fledgling Japanese skills. I can certainly understand more this trip than last time I came.
