Fog!

Today it was my bird group, but I wondered whether we'd see anything at all as the fog was so thick!

But it was a very good day - amongst other things we saw green woodpeckers, a jay, treecreepers and this beautiful, and slightly unexpected barn owl!

A pretty grainy photo in bad light, but I think my new camera is doing quite well, all things considered!

I shall shamelessly ask for your support - I have a photo in the YWT photo competition, it was doing well until today and now it's dropped to second place! I'm very keen to win the photography day, so if anyone feels inclined to vote for 'Mallard feeding frenzy' I'd be very grateful! Thank you :)

I haven't posted yesterdays blip yet - such indecision - I took lots of hare photos in fabulous light - some very close, some fighting  .. and a slightly iffy but sweet photo of a stoat .. waaah - what to do?
