Sunny

A very chilly but sunshiney day.  Lunch outside (thus carrying on our tradition of eating lunch outside at least once in every calendar month). CarbBoy had a basketball training day all day, so went off with a very swanky packed lunch (which he obviously ignored in favour of crisps and biscuits) and his epipens just in case (also - thankfully - ignored).

TallGirl lay around the house coughing (she has a lurgy) until Mr B stirred into action on her Great Gatsby essay.  Meanwhile I battled the forces of Airport Utility and, thanks to some words of advice from a fellow blipper, won.  For now...

Later, it turned out that Maze Runner was too scary for our kids, though some Modern Family seems to have brought things back to a potentially nightmare-free even keel.  I'm not sure I'm allowed to choose movies again...  (At least I wasn't the one who showed them Gladiator.)

To prove the sunniness of the day, here's an early evening shot of the secret garden next to our house.  I want to buy the house that owns it just for the garden...
