Snow in July
From my daily journal - July 7, 2006
The day woke to beauty. No more overcast. And I got the idea to go somewhere after staying downstairs for several days letting my toe rest. Called Steve and we all decided to drive up to Mount Baker. The road to Artist's Point was closed but we could walk the mile to the bull dozer and the half a mile further on snow to the lookout. It was a lovely walk. I made a funny drawing in the snow along the side of the road. Then we walked around the pond below. We drove down and Steve treated us to dinner at Milano's. We got home in time to play hearts and idiot bridge before Steve walked home and we went to bed. A great day.
